This one-day course will enable participants to better recognize signs of possible mental health injuries in their parishioners and how and where to get help.

This workshop will be given by St. John Ambulance, and will qualify you for the following certification: SANTÉ MENTALE ET BIEN-ÊTRE EN MILIEU DE TRAVAIL (8h), which is valid for 3 years.

Here are the course objectives:

• Knowledge and background on mental health and well-being, including stigma awareness
• Awareness of factors that can affect mental health
• An understanding of stress and burnout and the effects of trauma and suicidality
• Effective tools and approaches that reduce stigma and help support parishioners
